Shows leadership and responsibility. Displays no fear to speak out and can think quickly, which are valuable traits.

THE ARTS

Creativity has always been valued, as it shows an ability to think outside the box, and can lead to problem solving skills. Also tends to make for an interesting personality.

STUDENT NEWSPAPER

Writing is a skill applicable in many situations, and being published shows off that skill. Additionally, it shows academic activity outside of regular classes.

ATHLETICS

Athletics is a great way to display leadership, perseverance, and physical fitness. Playing as a part of a team shows cooperation as well.

CULTURE CLUBS/INCLUSIVITY

Promoting diversity and culture is valued in today's world, and it shows empathy, value for others, and acceptance of differences.
